MAINLOOP ACADEMY
Learn game design through guided practice. Choose a skill to work on, follow exercises backed by sources, and check your results against clear criteria. Academy adapts the learning path to your experience and available time.
Video games are the first category. The system is designed to expand into new technologies.
ACADEMYby MainloopTwo decisions, not a catalog
The entry is simple. The course appears after understanding what you want to do and where you begin.
Defines the territory. Initially: video games.
Defines one observable capability inside that category.
Organizes practice, sources, materials, support, and validation around your outcome.
One shared framework
Each person gets a different path, while every learning experience crosses the same pragmatic, testable cycle.
Turn intention into a prediction that can fail.
Produce the minimum test that isolates the central decision.
Separate what happened from what you interpret.
Rebuild the principle in your own words and find the gaps.
Apply the capability to a variation you have not rehearsed.
Base Loop
Design practice without a subscription. Reviewed presets with deterministic variants based on experience and time. They keep sources, practice, materials, and validation without generative personalization.
Available without an Academy subscriptionAdaptive Academy
Guided practice with AI assistance. AI generates and recalibrates the Loop from your outcome, preferences, time, and evidence. It includes experts, text, and real-time voice within clear limits.

Knowledge is organized by topic and reused across Loops. The same material is not synthesized for every user, and an answer is not accepted merely because it sounds convincing.
The reusable unit that keeps knowledge independent from a course.
A claim with scope, limits, known failures, and functional checks.
Official documentation, standards, papers, and books with verifiable identity and version.
Only the compatible, current knowledge required by the present practice.
Synthetic experts
Five young, technical personalities intervene differently. They do not compete to speak: the one useful to the current block appears.
Makes you explain back until the first causal gap becomes visible.
Reduces the idea to a fast, runnable test.
Looks for the case that refutes your conclusion before accepting it.
Makes relationships, states, and hard-to-reason feedback visible.
Adds a useful constraint that turns progress into something finished.
Evidence-based validation
Screenshots, links, files, explanations, and outcomes are tested against observable criteria. The profile grows when a capability is demonstrated and can transfer.

AI consumption reflects the actual work: a short Loop may use one unit, while a long or complex Loop may use several.
